Hard parts.
fixVideo assets making the site extremely slow
Hosted all video on Vimeo and embedded via API, eliminating direct file serving. Used poster images with lazy video loading on mobile.
fixCommunicating directorial style through UI
Worked closely with the designer to craft a dark, high-contrast visual language with cinematic font pairings and motion-driven storytelling.
fixPoor mobile experience with full-screen video
Built separate mobile layout using CSS poster images and tap-to-play, avoiding autoplay issues on iOS/Android.
fixNo clear call-to-action for collaboration inquiries
Added a contextual collaboration CTA section with brief and availability form, directly resulting in inbound project requests.
